Yes, I am a sorcerer. I am Merlin, son of Corwin of Amber and Dara of the Courts of Chaos, known to local friends and acquaintances as Merle Corey: bright, charming, witty, athletic...go read Castiglione and Lord Byron for particulars, as I'm modest, aloof and reticent as well.

Merle CoreyMerlin is the son of Corwin of Amber, and Dara of Chaos, and is thusly highborn in whichever pole of Reality he's tossed into. He was bred and raised to be a puppet-king of an Amber reunified with Chaos, something that's never sat well with him. His talents lie in artistic pursuits such as Sorcery and Trump-making.

He is an initiate of both the Logrus and the Pattern, an exceedingly rare occurence, and, while he'll never beat his uncle Benedict in single combat, not a bad fighter. Still, talking his way out of trouble or resorting to magical means is preferable to bloodshed.
